Herastier is the evolution of Heracross.
Name Origin: "Herastier" is the combination of "Hera", the beggining of Heracross's name and that it comes from the Heracles beetle name; and the german word "Stier" that it means "bull".
The Origin of Herastier
Herastier was the result of an experiment of the Team Rocket.
One of the Team Rocket scientists's teams designed what they called the "Evolutionary Simulation Chamber" (ESC) .
This machine was able to simulate in a few years, evolutionary effects exerted by the passage of millions of years on a Pokemon.
The ultimate goal of the project was increase the power and strength of species that were already strong like Charizards or Rhyperiors.
For this, they decided to tune up the "ESC" and try it with a specimen of a Heracross that Team Rocket had in their breeding centers.
The experiment was developed without complications until almost a decade later, when the scientific team judged that Heracross already had developed and had enough time to get it out of it hibernation state.
But the Team Rocket didn't expected the violent reaction of Herastier awakening from its long slumber, that it caused that the "ESC" was destroyed and a Hostile Containment Unit, formed by several armed Team Rocket soldiers and Steelix was defeated.
Herastier escaped from the Team Rocket's military complex, and the ESC had been destroyed... but the project had been a success..."

Short and sweet for an origin i guess but the pokemon itself is well tough cool and sturdy looking, the quality design and style are very much exceptional and well great in some words i would have to say, you certainly must have done some amount of work to get this peice together, so all i can offer to say is best of luck with the contest and a very new and wicked sorta looking idea^^
